This trick is for attraction of youth to smoking! Activists of different anti tobacco organization are indignant. These words concern cigarettes with candy flavor, which appeared recently: Twista Lime, Beach Breezer, Mocha Taboo and others.

These cigarettes became the main theme of protestant press conference, which took place near City Hall in New York. Some activists claimed that the development of sweet cigarettes is an obvious attempt of tobacco industry to habituate teens to tobacco consumption. But what is the problem? Why they struggle with these cigarettes, but not with Marlboro, Parliament, Lucky Strike etc.? The matter is that according to the scientists, the main age of smoking addiction among teens is from 14 to 17 years; there are only 7% of those, who got into this habit after the mentioned age.

By the way, draft laws, which forbid cigarettes with candy flavor, have been advanced all over the country. However, none of cities has adopted it. Only Chicago town council at first voted for the ban, but then it went back to its word, because menthol brands, such as Newport were automatically included in the category of banned cigarettes.
